TDfly’s "Innovation Laboratory" in the corner of the workshop is the "innovation heart" of the factory. Here, a weekly "technical challenge meeting" is held, where young engineers sit together to dissect the newly developed "foldable fuselage structure" — a design inspired by origami art that reduces drone transportation volume by 60%. To date, TDfly has filed more than three national patents for this technology. On the laboratory’s display shelves, experimental samples from different development stages are on show: from the first-generation rough 3D-printed models to today’s polar-specific versions that operate flawlessly at -30℃, each sample bears witness to TDfly’s exclusive technology evolution path.
Unlike conventional factory testing processes, TDfly’s "Full-Scenario Simulation Testing Center" sets an industry benchmark. The testing area features 1:1 replicas of real-world landscapes including mountains, water bodies, and urban buildings. Drones must complete grueling challenges: 72 consecutive hours of testing in a simulated rainstorm system and high-wind chamber, as well as passing the "electromagnetic interference test" — which replicates complex environments like high-voltage power lines and signal towers — to ensure reliable performance in special scenarios. Every qualified drone leaving TDfly’s factory comes with an "exclusive identity file", documenting the names of R&D engineers, assembly workers, and inspection specialists, plus full-cycle quality data. This allows every customer to trace the craftsmanship story behind their product.
